Blog 4: Elaboration Likelihood Model Theory

In this blog I am  going to in depth in Elaboration Like hood Model Theory. This theory is based on the routes of persuasion to persuade someone, for example if you want you friend to skip one class  with you to go eat lunch because you are starving, how would you persuade them to do so? I would go the Peripheral Route, in this route you tell them that "were not going to be gone for a very long time" or bring up a past situation in where the roles was switch and you did something for them that you did not want to do. In that time frame they will have a short time to really think about it and they will respond quickly.
In the video below is an example of the Peripheral Route because Will Smith is very emotional, after spending the night in jail with dirty clothes on  and trying to persuade them on why they should give him the job.
